Silvia Stegaru is one of the Codette co-founders and C++ Developer in Bitdefender’s Cyber Threat Intelligence Lab. Encompassing over 10 years of experience doing volunteer work, from creating workshop resources to coordinating teams for organizing events, Silvia has contributed to programs such as IoT4Girls, Celebration Day, Codette Stories etc. In her quality as an active member of the tech community, Silvia proudly supports the goal to raise the number of women in IT&C through inspiring, guiding and connecting them within the community. Her activity was recognized throughout the years through awards such as the Google Anita Borg Scholarship (currently known as the Women Techmakers Scholarship), the Forbes “30 under 30” award, and becoming an alumni in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the US State Department.
